This apartment in Kowloon Tong has an area of approximately 1046 sqft.

The client has a passion for music and simplicity but with a hint of grandiosity. The layout of the flat has a relatively large living space, which is perfect for his desire to entertain his family and friends on special occasions, the floor-to-ceiling height naturally creates a grandiose effect as you walk in.

One of the key points other than music being the core design factor, is the safety principle for children. Sharp edges were not recommended and we approached the design with a more fluid flow.  To emphasise the love for record music, a unique cabinet to hold the record player was designed. 

The use of simplicity with the material composition created a minimal but grandiose design.
